Publication
The book Private Landscapes in its second edition has the images made during the fieldwork of Maria / Rosario Montero PhD research and combines four visual experiments, ramblings and proposals to represent the landscape of Chile. Giving visibility of the observations of two geographical zones of Chile with very different climatic, urban and natural environment characteristics (Iquique and Puerto Varas). The aim has been to question the problems and contradictions that arise in the daily experience with a domesticated territory; the garden.
The artist counted on the collaboration of Ximena Moreno (curator and editor of the project), Pamela Ipinza (designer), Daniel Reyes (editor), Carlos Prieto (translator) and Cecilia Fanta (proofreading).
This book was printed by Adrede Editores in Santiago de Chile, in August 2018 in Ograma, thanks to FONDART 2018 (Chilean National Art Fund).
